Indigo Rose
Black and Brown Boar
Cherokee Green
Spot Yellow
Coyote
Green Zebra
Tomatoes are coming along. Some very unusual tomato variety's for me at least. The small Coyote tomato is very small but does have that full tomato flavor very strange for a small tomato I am enjoying them. Until next time see ya later Dusty...
Wow, I've never seen such a purple tomato! Love the way they look :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Whats funny is that is how they look when there not ripe. You have to look on there bottoms to see if there ripe.
DeleteI just pinned this to my blogpinner board...hope that's ok.
ReplyDeleteYou bet...
DeleteWow Dusty-I just love the look of those Indigo Rose tomatoes. Have done a quick search but don’t seem to be available this side of the pond yet so will have wait and see if they appear here...what is the taste like?
ReplyDeleteThese are still green. I have not yet tried one. But soon. There is a lot of breeding going on with these dark tomatoes they are suppose to be better for you than a normal tomato.
DeleteAs it ripens the underside turns from green to a rosy red. Flavor is great, strongly acidic and when sliced it looks just like a plum with its deep red flesh. If you can't find a source I know a guy with seed.lol
